[T]his production doesn’t disappoint. Moreover, as Stone Soup’s second production, it seals the company’s place as a creditable addition to the community theatre landscape.
Just to hear live music performed in this setting is a treat, and conductor (and flautist) Joanna Sisk-Purvis delivered Jonathan Tunick’s orchestrations with quality.

Simplified Summary
Stone Soup presents “Into The Woods”, a mixed-up fairy tale where everyone’s favorite characters meet and get tangled up. In the woods, the Baker and his wife want a child, Cinderella wants to go to the ball, and Jack wishes his cow would give milk. The Baker and his wife try to break the curse on them, and everyone gets their wishes…only to find the result isn’t at all what they wanted.
